Roundtable Discussions on Artificial Intelligence at the Festival of Science and Arts event (FestUM 2026) in Maribor, Slovenia

At the event organized by the University of Maribor as part of the Festival of Science and Arts (FestUM 2026), dr. Izidor Mlakar (CERTAIN pilots lead), participated in one of the roundtables.

The University of Maribor organized two roundtables dedicated to current issues in artificial intelligence as part of the Festival of Science and Art (FestUM 2026). The event took place in person on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 3:00 PM in Maribor, Slovenia. 

The roundtables focused on understanding modern artificial intelligence technologies and debunking common myths and misconceptions about their use. The discussions did shed light on various aspects of the development of artificial intelligence, including its social, ethical, and economic impacts.
