What is your organization’s role in the project? What unique contribution does it bring to the team?

Netcompany-Intrasoft plays a pivotal role in the project, leading the design and development of the data space platform. This encompasses the creation and implementation of regulatory compliance workflows, which will be delivered as integral data space services. These services are carefully designed to be both configurable and adaptable, ensuring full adherence to the European regulatory framework in a timely and cost-efficient way. This approach not only guarantees that regulatory requirements are met, but also fosters a secure, lawful, and trustworthy data-sharing environment among a wide range of stakeholders.

In addition to its technical responsibilities, Netcompany-Intrasoft will also take the lead in shaping the project’s exploitation and sustainability plan. This plan will define strategies for maximizing the long-term impact and value of the project outcomes, ensuring that the developed solutions remain viable, maintainable, and scalable beyond the project’s lifetime.

How do you think CERTAIN will contribute to the Artificial Intelligence landscape in Europe?

CERTAIN aims to make a significant contribution in Europe’s AI landscape by bridging the gap between European regulations and the implementation of AI tools and data space platforms. Through a detailed analysis of European regulations, CERTAIN will establish a comprehensive regulatory framework, which will be practically realized across all the project’s technical solutions, including AI tools and federated data platforms. Through the development of tools and platforms, the project will make compliance feasible for organizations of all sizes. This approach will foster public trust in AI by promoting transparent compliance mechanisms, ultimately contributing to broader societal acceptance of AI technologies. The project will enhance Europe’s position as a global leader in trust and ethical AI, differentiating it through certification processes that reflect a firm commitment to European values such as privacy, fairness, and transparency.
